The evaluation of PAHO's technical cooperation in Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Prevention and Control offers a crucial independent assessment of the Organization's performance and its ability to achieve desired outcomes in this vital public health issue. Specifically, the evaluation focuses on the implementation of the Regional Plan of Action for the Prevention and Control of NCDs in the Americas for the years 2013 to 2019. This focused approach allowed for a comprehensive examination of the effectiveness of PAHO's strategies and interventions in tackling NCDs, which are a growing concern for public health in the region.
